I have a big soft spot for this Australia-based trade title. I pitched client stories to the then-editor when I had my first PR job then freelanced for her when I started out on my own part-time. Being offered the editor role came at the perfect time as I'd just made Little Black Dog Media my full-time job. I may not be able to take credit for this intriguing title (thanks Rachel) but the rest is all my work. I simply took the lovely owner of Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts' self-confessed "jumbled notes" and turned them into an easy-to-read yet packed-full-of-info blog.

Although Ian's website was still attracting clients, it hadn't had any TLC for years. Whilst I don't support on the design side (but have contacts who can), I brought the content bang up-to-date. Some of it simply needed rewritten or its layout tweaked to make it easier for a reader to skim through. For other bits, I picked Ian's brains - for example, he had more testimonials than I could believe but hadn't been showing them off online. I popped them front and centre, and peppered them throughout, because what's better than a great recommendation when you're looking for a service?
